Aquatic Group Fitness Instructor - Contract Basis

Overview We are seeking an experienced Group Fitness Instructor to undertake Aqua fitness classes on a contract basis. The Aqua Fitness Instructor will develop and safely deliver 45-minute aqua fitness classes, including Aqua-Fit and Aqua-Deep, for a range of ages and abilities. Locations & Schedule Classes are held across four city pools: Baywave, Greerton, Te Puke and Otumoetai. Schedules range from morning to midday and evenings, on weekdays and weekends. Flexibility around location and time of day is required. Responsibilities Develop and safely deliver 45-minute aqua fitness classes (Aqua-Fit and Aqua-Deep). Lead dynamic, full-body workouts that cater to a wide range of age groups and abilities. Maintain a customer-centric, energetic approach and ensure participant safety and proper technique. Operate as a contractor, managing own tax obligations and insurance as required. Qualifications & Skills Friendly with a positive can-do attitude and excellent communication skills. Physically fit with experience in aqua class instruction. Certificate in Aqua Aerobics or Certificate in Fitness Level 4 (or equivalent). Previous experience teaching in the group fitness industry.
