Job Description
What will you be doing? You’ll own new revenue growth for New Zealand, turning opportunity into impact. This is a true end‑to‑end role where you’ll be responsible for the full sales cycle; prospecting, providing demos and pitches, negotiating and closing. You’ll build momentum, trust and value at every step while keeping the customer experience front and centre. Responsibilities Proactively identify, and engage new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, warm introductions, events and referrals Lead discovery conversations to deeply understand client needs, challenges and commercial priorities, shaping tailored solutions with real impact Own the full sales cycle from first contact through to close, maintaining momentum, clear communication and a consistently positive client experience Develop compelling value propositions and commercial proposals that clearly articulate ROI and align to client goals Confidently present, pitch and demo solutions to senior stakeholders, adapting your style to different audiences and buying stages Negotiate commercial terms with confidence, balancing client value with business outcomes Keep a clear, well‑managed sales pipeline and forecast in Microsoft Dynamics, bringing visibility and momentum to your area of the business Consistently deliver against budget and commercial KPIs, with a focus on sustainable growth and long‑term client success Requirements 5+ years experience in sales or account management, ideally gained within the FMCG industry Experience working with Circana data set or equivalent preferred Confident communicator with strong presentation skills and a natural ability to build rapport, influence and connect with others Demonstrated ability to grow revenue through considered selling and effective negotiation Comfortable shaping client needs into end‑to‑end solutions that balance insight, creativity and commercial value Curious and open‑minded, with a creative approach to problem solving and a willingness to explore new ideas High attention to detail, well organised, autonomous and proactive, able to manage competing priorities while maintaining focus and momentum Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast‑moving, evolving industry Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented, with a quiet confidence and genuine drive to achieve outcomes Circana Behaviours Stay Curious: Being hungry to learn and grow, always asking the big questions Seek Clarity: Embracing complexity to create clarity and inspire action Own the Outcome: Being accountable for decisions and taking ownership of our choices Centre on the Client: Relentlessly adding value for our customers Be a Challenger: Never complacent, always striving for continuous improvement Champion Inclusivity: Fostering trust in relationships engaging with empathy, respect and integrity Commit to each other: Contributing to making Circana a great place to work for everyone Benefits Flexible and hybrid working Up to 5 weeks annual leave and holiday buy‑back scheme 16 weeks paid parental leave Birthday leave Summer half days Circana “Me” Days (4 per year!)
