About the role This role goes well beyond compliance – you’ll step in as a trusted expert, leading conversations, educating the industry and helping shape a safer, stronger Christchurch. You will Complete site reports with accuracy, clarity, and professionalism Verify construction work aligns with approved consent documentation Provide expert advice and help resolve building issues Respond to customer enquiries and support positive outcomes Stay current with the Building Act, regulations, and code requirements About you A Regulation 18 Qualification (completed or in progress) At least 2 years’ BCA inspection experience At least 3 years’ NZ building industry experience Competency at National BCA Res 1 or above Strong judgement, technical confidence, and clear reporting skills What's in it for you? Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativity both within the immediate team and in the broader organisation for the same or similar roles.
