Job Description
Manager, Immigration Services We are looking for a commercially driven Manager, Immigration Services to lead and grow Stellar’s immigration offering across New Zealand. About the Role This role has a strong focus on: Business development Client relationship management Growing immigration revenue Building Stellar’s immigration service offering Supporting consultants to identify and convert immigration opportunities Ensuring clients receive high-quality and compliant immigration support This is not a purely case‑management role. You will be focused on building the service, growing client relationships, and helping position immigration as a key value‑add solution for Stellar’s clients. Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue new opportunities to grow Stellar’s immigration services Follow up leads generated by consultants, clients and candidates Convert recruitment activity into immigration revenue Promote immigration services as a value‑add solution for clients facing skills shortages Build strong relationships with existing and new clients Educate clients on immigration pathways, timelines and workforce planning Support consultants with immigration‑related client conversations Attend client meetings to explain immigration options and processes Represent Stellar’s immigration services at networking and industry events Contribute to marketing, presentations, articles and other promotional activity Track pipeline activity, leads and conversion rates Work closely with Licensed Immigration Advisers to ensure compliant advice and service delivery Support the handover of new immigration engagements through to case management Provide leadership and direction to the immigration function Support and guide the Immigration Team Leader Identify market trends, policy changes and new service opportunities Contribute to the ongoing growth strategy for Stellar’s immigration services About You You will be confident, commercially minded and relationship-led. You may come from an immigration, recruitment, sales, business development or workforce mobility background. Experience in business development, recruitment and/or client relationship management A good understanding of New Zealand immigration pathways and processes Experience with immigration, workforce mobility or employer‑assisted visas would be beneficial Proven ability to generate leads and convert opportunities into revenue Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills Confidence working with consultants, clients, candidates and immigration advisers Clear communication skills and the ability to explain immigration concepts simply A proactive, solutions‑focused approach Strong planning and organisation skills A collaborative style and the ability to build credibility across the business A relevant qualification in business, sales, recruitment or immigration would be desirable How You’ll Be Rewarded At Stellar, we offer more than just a job.
