Job Description Key Responsibilities Facilitating daily settlement across various markets. Investigating settlement discrepancies with internal and external parties. Undertaking of reconciliations for broker trades against internal records. Providing settlement instructions for custodians. Completing daily reconciliations of our bank accounts and identifying anything unusual. Facilitating payments to our clients, receipting client funds, and following advisor instructions. Identifying areas of improvement for the Operational Excellence Team. Adhering and complying with audit and compliance requirements. Learning and assisting with other roles within the Operations team. About You You will communicate clearly and confidently with both internal teams and external counterparties and add positively to a collaborative team environment. You will be someone who takes ownership, stays calm and is solutions‑focused when issues arise, and raises risks or discrepancies early with the right context rather than sitting on problems. Curious and commercially minded, you will be keen to learn our systems and processes quickly, build strong relationships across the firm, and consistently deliver accurate, high‑quality work for our clients. Desired Skills and Experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to liaise with a range of internal and external clients High levels of accuracy and attention to detail Sound judgement and business acumen Ability to pick up new systems with ease Able to work well within a team Ability to engage and communicate with people at all levels across the firm Microsoft Office and Excel skills Fast learner, able to pick up new & complicated systems Relevant degree in finance, commerce or accounting, or 1 – 2 years’ experience in either banking or another relevant industry #J-18808-Ljbffr
