Radiology Assistant (Permanent part time, 0.2FTE) – North Shore Hospital Working rostered shifts, 16 hours per fortnight. About the Role The Radiology Assistant supports the clinical team at North Shore Hospital. Key responsibilities include ensuring efficient patient flow within the department, providing exceptional support to medical imaging technologists and nursing staff, assisting with patient transport, and offering hands‑on support during imaging procedures. The role is varied, hands‑on and directly contributes to enhancing the patient experience through compassionate care and workflow coordination. Qualificationsand Experience Previous experience working in a healthcare environment with a focus on patient care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a true team player. Good computer literacy and ability to manage administrative aspects of patient flow. Ability to assist with patient transport and provide hands‑on support during imaging procedures. NZQA Level 3 certificate in Care & Support or a similar qualification (preferred). Previous radiology department experience (an advantage).
