Cleaner / Car Groomer (Part-Time)

Looking to work Part‑Time? We have multiple positions working 20‑hours per week so calling all students and part‑time job hunters for a role based at the Wellington Airport . As a Vehicle Service Agent you will be a key component to our operations and be responsible for checking and preparing our vehicles to ensure they are in the best condition possible for our customers. We are looking for people with a keen eye for detail who are not afraid to put in a hard day’s work in keeping our fleet looking its best. Work Hours Part‑time working 20 hours each week (Sunday each week) Entry level with training provided Supportive, friendly and caring culture Wellington Airport based Shifts Shift 1: Monday 09:30‑20:00, Wednesday 09:30‑20:00 Shift 2: Thursday 14:30‑20:00, Friday 14:30‑20:00, Sunday 09:30‑20:00 About The Role As a Vehicle Service Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring that rental vehicles are clean and ready for customers to use. This position involves washing, vacuuming, shuttling and detailing rental vehicles, as well as conducting minor repairs and maintenance as needed. You may also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the rental car lot and other areas. Some Specific Responsibilities Of a Car Preparation May Include Washing, vacuuming, waxing, shuttling and detailing rental vehicles to ensure that they are clean and presentable. Conducting minor repairs and maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs or wiper blades. Maintaining the cleanliness of the rental car lot and other areas. Completing paperwork and documentation as required. Working as part of a team to ensure that rental vehicles are ready for customers in a timely manner. Ensuring that safety and security protocols are followed at all times. Key Responsibilities Will Include Preparing the interior and exterior of our vehicles by cleaning, washing, and vacuuming all returned vehicles. Assessing vehicle for any potential new damages and reporting it as per our vehicle damage procedure. Reviewing returned vehicle gas levels and car kilometres and accurately inputting them into our hand‑held devices as required. Re‑fueling gas tanks, checking fluid levels and tyre conditions along with pressure and tread depth. What We Are Looking For Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential for this role. Previous experience in a hands‑on or physical labouring role. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment in all weather conditions delivering a high standard of work. Openness to working flexible schedules, including weekends. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Team‑player with a friendly, positive, ‘can‑do’ attitude.
