Storeperson – Timaru, NZ Rewarding Storeperson role with full training and career progression opportunities. About the role: We are seeking a Storeperson to join our team at Lineage in Timaru. This is a full‑time position responsible for efficiently and accurately storing, retrieving, and distributing goods within our cold storage operation. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of goods through our facility. Responsibilities Receiving, unpacking, and inspecting incoming goods Accurately storing items in designated locations using appropriate equipment Retrieving and preparing items for dispatch, ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently Maintaining a clean, organised, and hazard‑free work environment Assisting with stock takes and inventory management as required Following all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols Qualifications Previous experience as a Storeperson or in a similar warehousing role Forklift licence and/or experience operating material handling equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Physical fitness to perform the required manual handling tasks Commitment to workplace health and safety Benefits Competitive pay Retail discounts as some of New Zealand's largest retailers (via the Boost Scheme) 8 hours of paid volunteer time to contribute in the community An employee assistance programme #J-18808-Ljbffr
