Production Planner

Responsibilities Manage and optimize production planning and scheduling across multiple sites and lines Site scheduling and planning according to the forecast Forecast anticipated materials requirements to support production planning Focus on optimizing capacity and minimizing downtime Coordinate supply to ensure availability of materials in line with demand Ensure the timely flow of materials to production lines Manage the return and movement of finished goods to distribution facilities Handle customs clearance and shipping processes Oversee and manage materials inventory levels and accuracy May be required to work outside ordinary hours to participate in essential training, team meetings, customer events or trade shows/conferences, including evenings and/or weekends Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a related field Minimum 1 year experience in planning/scheduling in a manufacturing environment, preferably in dairy, FMCG or similar industry Strong organization and time management, high attention to detail Excellent communication skills Proactive and results oriented Comfortable working in a dynamic environment Resilient under pressure and commercially astute Location Waikato District – Pokeno Abbott is an Equal‑Opportunity Employer, committed to employee diversity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
