About the Role As a Passenger Service Agent, you will be the face of the airline, providing exceptional customer service throughout the passenger journey. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting passengers with check‑in, boarding, and arrivals. Verifying travel documents, issuing boarding passes, and processing checked baggage. Providing accurate flight information, including delays, cancellations, and gate changes. Assisting passengers with special requirements, including wheelchair assistance, elderly travellers, and unaccompanied minors. Responding to customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally. Supporting baggage drop‑off procedures. Ensuring compliance with airport security and safety procedures. Working closely with airline and airport teams to deliver a smooth travel experience. Maintaining accurate records and documentation. Providing assistance during operational disruptions and emergency situations. What We're Looking For Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment. Strong organisational and time management skills. Confident using computers and technology (intermediate level). Well‑presented with a professional appearance. Physically capable of assisting passengers with baggage and operating wheelchairs when required. Fluent in spoken and written English (additional languages are an advantage). Full New Zealand Class 1 Driver Licence and reliable transport. Flexibility to work a rotating roster across seven days, including weekends, public holidays, and shifts covering 24‑hour operations.
