Key Account Manager

Key Account Manager Fisher & Paykel appliances is one of New Zealand's best‑known appliance distributors and a global company with a strong heritage. We distribute both Fisher & Paykel and Haier brand appliances. Role Overview You will be responsible for the planning and execution of our retail strategy by managing a targeted portfolio of Key Accounts, ensuring plans align to annual sales targets and focusing on product placement, marketing and promotional programmes. Responsibilities Translate the strategic plan into executable actions that deliver shared imperatives. Identify and develop integrated demand generation strategies that drive sales. Maintain awareness of key account and environmental influences to keep plans current. Ensure highly effective cross‑functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Manage key account relationships and create enthusiasm for Fisher & Paykel and Haier products. Gauge customer needs and provide proactive strategies to drive product sales. Use tools to monitor daily sales performance metrics and reporting to maximise sell‑through and opportunities with strong financial understanding and analytical skills. Qualifications Proven sales professional with a track record of successfully transforming and growing key retail accounts. Experience in executing effective customer relationship management strategies and a deep understanding of the customer. Strong analytics and evaluation of sales data and reports, ability to reach logical conclusions and make sound business‑focused recommendations and decisions. Strategic thinking with a highly commercial mind‑set and the ability to use insight to enhance the customer experience.
