RealNZ
Milford Sound, STL, NZ Full Time
Reference: 97845f35c6566b24

Job Description

Ready to work in one of the most breathtaking locations on Earth? This is your chance to make Doubtful Sound and Lake Manapouri your office this summer! We're looking for enthusiastic, versatile crew members to join our close-knit team aboard our day cruise vessels. This is a genuine blend of two worlds, boat crew and hospitality/customer service , so come ready for both sides of the job. One day you might be helping with ropes, mooring and keeping the vessel shipshape; the next you'll be behind the bar serving food and drinks, or front and centre hosting guests and sharing the magic of Fiordland. If you're coming from a hospitality background, expect proper crew duties on the water. If you're picturing yourself purely as a deckhand, expect to be serving guests too, it's genuinely both. As part of the crew, you'll play a key role in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. From welcoming passengers and serving food and drinks to keeping the vessel shipshape, you'll be the friendly face of RealNZ on the water. We're looking for someone who radiates positive energy and approaches each day with a can-do attitude. You'll have a genuine love for the outdoors and take pride in your work, always striving to deliver memorable experiences. Sharing the magic of Fiordland with our guests will come naturally to you, and you'll be more than happy to lend a hand wherever it's needed. This is a fixed-term, full-time role with guaranteed hours covering our busy summer (from September 2026 to April 2027). What You'll Need A valid working visa for the full length of the role A valid driver's licence Experience in hosting, guiding, or customer service Hospitality or F&B experience (a bonus!) Maritime experience (preferred but not essential) Availability to work weekends Own transport to get to and from work at Manapouri (bonus) What do you get out of this? Access to exclusive staff rates and free experiences across RealNZ's incredible offerings - from rafting in Queenstown and dining at Walter Peak to exploring Te Anau Glowworm Caves, Rakiura, and cruising Milford Sound. At RealNZ, we're committed to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. Guided by our values of Pono (Keep it real) and He waka eke noa (We're all in this together), we embrace and celebrate the unique perspectives and experiences that make our team stronger. Everyone is welcome here. #J-18808-Ljbffr
