Civil Designer (Civil 3D & 12D)

Role Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Designer (Civil 3D & 12D) to contribute to the development of design, modelling, and production of drawings across civil infrastructure projects. This is a permanent role based out of our Auckland or Wellington offices. Responsibilities Develop and produce civil design, modelling and production of drawings across civil infrastructure projects. Work independently on varied design and modelling tasks related to major land development and infrastructure projects. Ensure output of a high standard within time and cost budget allocations while meeting client expectations. Mentor and manage project teams. Qualifications 8+ years’ experience in a similar role. Diploma or Certificate qualification in Civil Design / Computer aided drafting. Relevant geometric design experience with specialist drafting software skills such as 12D and Civil 3D. Use of software in the design of roadways, earthworks, stormwater, water quality and general site grading. Geometric roadway design experience to Austroads standards. Site grading and earthworks analysis. Coordination of utility networks and stormwater drainage. Knowledge and skills in Civil Infrastructure and CAD technologies (12D, Civil3D, BIM Collaboration software). Clear and effective communication skills. Problem solving and analytic skills. Ability to apply theoretical concepts to analyse and interpret information. Experience in the production of design documentation.
