As the statutory auditor of all public organisations, from councils to schools, the Auditor-General's work plays a major part in ensuring that our public sector remains one of the most trusted in the world.We're looking for a Wellington-based manager to lead the Office's strategy, planning, performance measurement, and governance. This is a fixed-term or secondment opportunity through to 31 May 2028.In this role, you'll lead a small, capable team in our Strategy and Communications Group. You'll oversee key planning and reporting products (including the annual plan, annual report, and quarterly reporting) and help embed a new performance framework that supports better organisational insight and continuous improvement.You'll work closely with senior leaders, including the Auditor-General, and advise and influence the Senior Leadership Team and fellow Tier 3 leaders.
