Security Officer – Part-Time Location: Invercargill, South Island, NZ | Industry: Shopping Centre | Job ID: KCPPD Hourly rate: $26.00 | Shifts: Sunday – Tuesday, 4:00PM – 12:00AM About the Role As a Security Officer you will maintain a safe and secure environment while delivering a high standard of customer service. Your duties will include patrols, incident response, and client-facing responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Conduct patrols to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets. Provide a professional and approachable security presence. Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and assistance requests. Identify and assess risks, taking appropriate action in line with procedures. Adhere to all site and company security protocols. Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records. About You A valid Security Licence. Current First Aid certification. Certificate of Approval (COA). Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded). Availability to work day/night and weekday/weekend shifts. Good physical fitness, as patrols are required. Ability to work independently and follow procedures. Strong attention to detail.
