The Opportunity This is a fixed-term position (1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week) from 24 August 2026 to 25 July 2027, this role is based across our Fresh Minds sites, with a regular requirement to work from our Parnell office on Mondays and our Northwest site on Thursdays. Occasional travel to other Fresh Minds locations will also be required to support meetings, events, and stakeholder engagement activities. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly organised professional to join our diverse and friendly team in a dual‑purpose role. As Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the General Manager of Fresh Minds is well supported, engaged, and able to operate effectively. You will deliver a comprehensive suite of executive support services, coordinate key initiatives and projects, and act as a central point of connection between governance and operational stakeholders. Working closely with the Fresh Minds Board and governance committees, you will help ensure effective communication, coordination, and organisational efficiency. Alongside this, you will provide administration and programme coordination support, working closely with Team Leads to support service delivery, resource coordination, reporting requirements, and programme administration. You will contribute to monitoring programme performance, identifying gaps, and supporting the team to achieve programme outcomes and contractual obligations. This is a varied and rewarding role that is critical to maintaining continuity and ensuring both executive support and programme operations remain well‑coordinated, aligned, and high functioning. The Successful Candidate Will Have The Following Key Skills/attributes Relevant qualification in administration, office management, business support, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years' experience providing executive or governance support at a senior management level is preferred. Strong administrative, organisational, and coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Experience preparing reports, managing information, and supporting programme or project delivery. Previous exposure to, or experience within, the healthcare sector, NGO, or community organisation environment would be advantageous. Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups. Excellent communication skills and a high level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail. A passion for improving equitable health outcomes for the people of Tāmaki Makaurau and Aotearoa New Zealand. Strong understanding and appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in shaping our work. What we offer Competitive salary and benefits.
