Warehouse Team Leaders- Visy Logistics

The Opportunity We are seeking Warehouse Team Leaders to join our Visy Logistics teams based at our sites in Onehunga and Penrose, Auckland. These are newly created permanent full-time positions working Monday to Friday on our afternoon (2pm start) and night shifts (8pm start). Reporting to the Warehousing Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and compliant supervision of all warehousing activities. Further to this your duties will include; Daily hands-on supervision and management of Forklift Operators and Stores people. Responsible for the fleet allocation and execution of customer deliveries, production transfers, packaging shuttles. Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures and promote a safe and positive work environment. Operating double fork forklifts, counterbalance and high reach machinery. What You’ll Bring To The Team A minimum of 3 years’ experience in local transport and warehouse operations. Proven experience in people management skills gained from a supervisory or team leader role (warehouse/logistics preferred). Strong communication skills both written and verbally. Ability to manage workflow, priorities, and productivity during shift operations Basic computer skills are essential while experience with SAP and warehousing management systems is desirable.
