Project Engineer

Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the Downer Infrastructure Delivery team delivering key infrastructure changes as part of the K Huanui a Thuna programme. The role involves assisting in the delivery of the Frankton interchange and Bus Hub improvements, the largest road change in Queenstown's history. Responsibilities Participate in the management of assigned works, ensuring contract performance meets customer requirements in terms of quality, cost and project timeframes. Assist the Project Manager to manage project documentation including contracts, subcontractor and supplier agreements, invoices and claims. Ensure that all monthly financial management reporting requirements are met and complete workload forecasting for the contract. Ensure appropriate Project Management Methodology (PMM), safety and quality assurance systems are in place. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, liaise with the public and prepare progress and claim reports. Perform audits and checks to ensure compliance with Health and Safety, quality and environmental policies.
