Heavy Diesel Field Service Technician

Terra Industrial New Zealand Limited is offering a field service position covering the West Coast region. The role provides a competitive hourly rate with annual review, overtime, and a range of additional benefits. Workdays are Monday to Friday, with optional overtime or flexible arrangements. Responsibilities Travel to customer sites across the West Coast region using a field service vehicle. Fault find, diagnose, troubleshoot, service, perform maintenance and repair of Caterpillar equipment. Plan daily schedule to maximise efficiency and manage workload. Complete all associated admin and paperwork accurately. Qualifications Experienced heavy diesel mechanic with knowledge of Caterpillar machinery. Self‑starting, energetic and able to work independently. International candidates with recent experience in a Resident Technician role at a Caterpillar dealership may be considered.
