About the role This full‑time role is perfect for qualified professionals looking to apply their expertise, as well as motivated individuals eager to develop their skills. You'll be an integral part of our customer‑focused team, contributing to the creation of high‑quality baked goods that delight our shoppers daily. We aim to be at the cutting edge of Bakery innovation, developing and introducing new premium baked goods that our customers love. Key responsibilities Produce a wide range of high‑quality baked goods, including sweets, breads and pastries. Develop and introduce innovative baked goods to our Bakery offering. Mentor, coach and train our Apprentice Bakers, inspiring the next generation of Bakers. Maintain exceptional merchandising standards and provide the great customer service New World is renowned for. Hours Full‑time hours, specific hours to be discussed at the interview stage. New World Centre City Bakery operates from 03:00am – 10:00pm, 7 days a week, shift patterns to include a weekend day. About you Passionate about baking with relevant experience or qualifications (preferred but not essential) Hardworking, reliable and demonstrated ability to use initiative. Eager to contribute to the success of the team and the development in innovation. Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
