Overview Join the Core Tribe as a Technical Consultant to shape ASB’s Entitlements layer, building the engine that migrates legacy functions and powers modern digital experiences. You will act as a hands‑on architect and strategic leader, guiding teams, making key technical decisions, and defining solutions that deliver real value for customers. Responsibilities Provide technical leadership for the entitlement solution, applying ASB’s established platform, integration, and architectural patterns to deliver scalable outcomes. Develop and implement technology strategies that align with business objectives. Guide and mentor engineering teams, promoting best practices and continuous improvement. Guide implementation using shared SDKs, infrastructure standards, and CI/CD practices, ensuring alignment with security and compliance requirements. Work closely with API, integration, and streaming platform teams to design resilient service interactions and meet agreed service levels. Evaluate and de‑risk emerging technologies, run pilots with clear success criteria and guide adoption across squads. Lead delivery of reusable integration components and reference architectures, providing hands‑on guidance for complex implementations. Engage stakeholders (product, security, ops) to balance velocity with safety, communicating trade‑offs and decisions clearly. Qualifications Experience 15+ years in software engineering, architecture and leadership. Proven leadership and decision‑making skills with a track record of successful project delivery. 5+ years in solution architecture. Languages and frameworks: .NET / C#, ASP.NET APIs. PowerShell and Azure CLI. NoSQL/Graph DB (Neo4j). Database engineering. Cloud and DevOps: Azure and cloud‑native development. Azure DevOps and GitHub for CI/CD. Containers and integration: Docker, Kubernetes, AKS or similar. API Gateways such as Kong. Event streaming tools such as Apache Kafka. REST APIs using OpenAPI or Swagger; SDK and library development. Agile delivery and user story refinement. Strong technical documentation skills. Proactive problem solving, strong technical leadership, and effective communication are essential. You should be confident gathering requirements, designing pragmatic solutions, and presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences.
