Machine Operator

About the Role You’ll operate slitter and log saw machinery, ensuring quality output and efficient production. You’ll be part of a high-performing team focused on continuous improvement and safety. Duties Include Setup, monitor and control of own workstation and production equipment. Run the jobs to the specified output and job changes are completed correctly and efficiently. Wrap and stack all product correctly. Record log sheets and timesheet data completely and accurately. Record, code and place all scrap into the correct bins. Advise setter of any issues that cause loss of machine speed, additional scrap, quality problems. Weekly Shift Pattern Week 1 Shifts (Day): 5.50am - 2:00pm Mon to Fri Week 2 Shifts (Afternoon): 1:50pm - 10:00pm Mon to Fri Week 3 Shifts (Night): 9.50pm - 6:00am Sun to Thu Total standard hours of work is 41 hours Skills & Experience Experience operating machinery Strong attention to detail Good numeracy, literacy, and mechanical aptitude Reliable transport to get to work Able to pass drug test and have no criminal convictions Valid NZ work rights Benefits Full-time hours (41 hours per week) Rotating shifts with daily allowances Overtime rates Weekly pay Stable, long-term opportunity for the right person Work for a globally recognised manufacturer Strong safety-focused environment EAP services #J-18808-Ljbffr
