Job Description

Location Tairawhiti – Gisborne based. A close community with a great work life balance, beautiful beaches, nature walks, and an outdoor lifestyle with a relaxed vibe. About the Role Part‑time and full‑time positions available. The role works Monday to Friday with hours that suit family/whānau life. You will be part of an enthusiastic and caring team providing ongoing assessments and treatment to enable recovery for whānau experiencing mental health and addiction issues. Key Responsibilities Provide ongoing assessments and treatment for whānau experiencing mental health and addiction issues. Clinically support a caseload of whānau using a whānau‑centered recovery‑focused framework and receive preceptor clinical supervision. Develop evidence‑based treatment and therapeutic plans with an emphasis on positive outcomes for whānau. Extend your mental health knowledge and champion shared understanding of mental health within the service. Qualifications Registered Counsellor, Therapist or Psychologist with a current APC.
