Clinical Nurse Manager - Acute Assessment Unit Permanent, Full Time, 80 hours per fortnight (1 FTE) A senior leadership opportunity to lead a fast-paced acute service, influence patient flow, and drive high-quality care delivery across key hospital areas. About the Role As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will provide operational and clinical leadership across the Acute Assessment Unit, Medical Day Unit, and IV Therapy Service. You’ll be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality care delivery, while leading a large nursing team and managing resources within a complex and dynamic environment. This is a highly visible and influential role where you’ll oversee patient flow, workforce planning, and service performance, while driving continuous improvement and leading change initiatives. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams and senior leaders to ensure services meet quality standards, achieve performance targets, and respond effectively to the demands of acute care. Based at Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital, you’ll lead a large, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering safe, coordinated, and patient-focused care.
