About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person with excellent interpersonal skills to provide clinical typing support for the Mental Health and Addictions Service based in Hamilton. Key responsibilities include: Provide clinical typing support for mental health documentation. Work autonomously while collaborating with a large multidisciplinary team. Use hospital management systems to record and manage clinical information. Essential requirements: Previous typing experience and a high degree of computer literacy. Ability to work independently and adapt to multitasking demands. Strong communication skills and commitment to confidentiality. About the Team/Service The Mental Health and Addictions Service has physical locations across Waikato. This role will be physically located at Te Kuuwaha o te Waiora, 135c Silverdale Road, Hillcrest (Entrance 10, University of Waikato) as part of our Adult Mental Health Service. About You Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to learning and growth. Experience in upholding Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and applying Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly in healthcare settings.
