As Obex grows, we have a newly created Product Specialist role within our Aortic Intervention team. This person will work alongside the Clinical Product Lead as they develop and master the skills required for this dynamic medical specialty. Aortic Intervention is a flagship business area for Obex. This role is suited for someone who is passionate about exceptional customer collaboration, is self‑motivated, can articulate technical information in high‑pressure environments, and chooses to work with some of the best technologies available in New Zealand. You will report to the Business Manager and become a key contributor within this high‑performing sales and clinical support team. You will manage your own territory, drive revenue growth, identify and execute sales opportunities, and meet and exceed sales objectives. You will collaborate closely with the Clinical Product Lead to deliver exceptional customer service and case support to achieve team goals and objectives. Working closely with vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, vascular and interventional radiology nurses, and MRTs, your day may look like the following: Working with clinicians to plan cases using specialised software Working with the Clinical Product Lead and Supply Chain to ensure correct sizing is available Managing hospital inventory, consignment, and boot stock for emergency procedures Providing expert case support Providing ongoing education and training to clinicians and allied health professionals This role has a high travel component. You will be provided with a competitive base salary, including a bonus based on deliverables, a car allowance and fuel card, and medical insurance.
