Job Summary As a Customer Development Manager – Omni Channel, you will drive sales growth by securing optimal product placement and executing promotional strategies across our retail, online, and veterinary channels. Reporting to the New Zealand Country Manager, you will manage customer relationships, develop annual business plans, and deliver joint initiatives with cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities Day‑to‑day management of customer accounts and relationships. Formulate and execute annual business plans focused on retail, online, and vet channels, negotiating trading terms to strengthen market position. Own the Customer P&L, including product forecasting and planning. Allocate commercial investment within the 7Ps activities to maintain Hill’s as the preferred partner for super‑premium pet nutrition. Partner with customers and internal teams to deliver impactful joint business‑plan initiatives. Track and report market share and category performance for customers. Use analytics to drive ROI‑focused discussions and strategies. Deliver sales targets within investment guidelines and align with global and regional brand strategy by recommending promotional plans. Collaborate with the Customer Development Team, Marketing, Digital, and Supply Chain functions to build opportunities and ensure planning accuracy. Meet e‑commerce sales fundamentals, including content standards and product launch timelines. Manage and coach a Customer Development Executive, aligning performance with Hill’s goals and values. Build strong, strategic relationships to drive sales growth and position Hill’s Pet Nutrition as a leader in pet health. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, commerce, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in customer management roles. Experience in pet nutrition or FMCG is highly regarded. Strong strategic planning and relationship‑building skills. Clear, confident communication across diverse retail environments. Strong analytical mindset and competency. Exceptional prioritisation skills and a goal‑oriented approach. Proficiency in CRM, sales analytics tools, and Google Suite or equivalent software. Team‑player with collaborative skills to meet customer needs and company objectives. Additional Information Work Environment: This role is based in our Auckland office with hybrid support. Regular weekly office attendance is expected (four days).
