EHSR Officer -Project Works

Canterbury, Christchurch City Full time Job Description Well established large manufacturer is moving into a brand spanking new plant, they need a hands on ESHR Officer to be responsible for Co-Ordinating Health & Safety Activities during the Establishment drive project for approximately five months. The role is: Coordination of all H&S activities during the project. Ensuring Health & Safety at Work act 2015 is met as well as meeting all other relevant Regulations. Accepted Codes of Practice and AS/NZS. Contractor Auditing. Facilitation of key messages. Coordination, participation of regular inspections. Assess PPE needs. Injury Management. Manage Risk Management. Hazardous Chemical Management. Creating site specific documentation /SOP’s for Health and Safety Standards as part of transition. You will need: Suitable qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (NZ). Understanding of H&S Legislation, Regulations. Accepted Codes of Practice and AS/NZS standards. Compliance related experience. Industrial and or manufacturing experience. MS Excel Intermediate. MS Word Intermediate. Project Management experience.
