# Registered Nurse - Puawai Rehabilitation Unit at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Southern, Otago## Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role**Registered Nurse – Puāwai Rehabilitation****Salary Band – $81,000 - $106,000 p.a prorata + Kiwisaver*** **Wakari Hospital*** **0.8 FTE / 64 Hours per fortnight*** **Fixed-term Parental leave until 1/3/2027**Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.**About the role**This is a rare opportunity to be part of a close knit and stable interdisciplinary team. The Rehabilitation Service (which encompasses Puāwai and Older Peoples Health) have a permanent, full time position available for an experienced Registered Nurse.* Collaborate in dynamic and evolving community and sub-acute rehabilitation interdisciplinary teams within the rehabilitation services.* You'll work alongside other nurses and physiotherapists, and wider team members in planning and providing rehabilitation to our patients.* Based predominantly in Puāwai, there will be the opportunity to work within the OPH Rehab service as required.* The focus is on rehabilitation and working towards the patients goals, whilst working closely with the families of the patients.* Optimising patient outcomes and facilitating effective rehabilitation using a patient centred and evidence based approach to goal setting and intervention.**About us**Te Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities.
