Principal Acoustic Engineer

Principal Engineer – Acoustics Our Acoustics team has a variety of diverse and exciting projects on the go, as well as in the future pipeline, and we’d love to speak with experienced Principal level acoustic experts. Based either in Auckland or Wellington, you’ll play a key role in leading projects within various sectors such as Property and Buildings, Transport & Infrastructure & Environment. As an influential member of our team, you’ll contribute to the success of the team by growing our technical acoustic offering and overseeing client care for a wide range of projects in the building acoustic and environmental acoustic sectors. Responsibilities Lead acoustic engineering projects across multiple sectors. Develop and grow the technical acoustic service portfolio. Oversee client care and maintain strong client relationships. Represent the team and WSP to ensure high quality deliverables. About You 10+ years of technical experience in acoustic engineering. Professional experience in engineering consultancy. Strong working knowledge with relevant technical standards, legislation and codes of practice within New Zealand. Client-focused with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service, securing work, and maintaining client relationships. Collaborative and relationship-oriented. Membership with the Acoustical Society of New Zealand. Additional Requirements Health and Safety is a core paramount value of WSP.
