About The Role We’re looking for a driven, high‑performing Account Manager to join the momentum and help shape the future of farming in the Western Southland region. This role serves as the primary point‑of‑contact for Halter customers, driving farmer success and ensuring the adoption of our technology. Location This role is based anywhere in the Western Southland region. Frequent travel is required. Responsibilities Own revenue retention, renewals, and expansion targets for existing customers in the region. Ensure farmers extract full value from Halter and understand its impact on their business. Lead account management: renew agreements, expand revenue by adding value in every interaction. Deploy and support onboarding, training, and implementation of Halter systems on farms. Build and nurture relationships with farmers, their teams, and families. Partner with customers to set clear business goals, timelines, priorities and metrics. Provide prompt communication and support to address technical or operational challenges. Represent Halter brand, lead local discussion groups, and build community networks. Advocate for customers, bridging the gap with product teams. Provide technical advice on agriculture topics from a farmer’s perspective. Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting others and modeling Halter’s Operating Principles. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in relationship management or account management. Experience in dairy farming or the agriculture sector with a passion for helping farmers succeed. Strong business acumen. Positive attitude and collaborative team player who excels at overcoming challenges. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with high autonomy.
