What You'll Be Doing Carry out accurate and compliant Warrant of Fitness (WOF) inspections, ensuring all checks meet AA and NZTA standards. Provide clear, complete written and verbal reports, helping customers understand your findings in an easy‑to‑follow manner. Refer and promote products and services that genuinely meet customer needs, supporting the broader AA service offering. Assist the Manager or Team Leader with investigating customer service issues when required, resolving concerns professionally. Build strong, positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and internal and external stakeholders. Stay updated with changes to technology, systems and processes, and contribute ideas for continuous improvement. Follow all health and safety requirements to ensure a safe environment for yourself, your team and the public. About You Hold a valid Warrant of Fitness authority (co‑certification is a bonus). Have at least three years of recent automotive industry experience and a clean, full New Zealand driver licence. Be comfortable working in a hands‑on, safety‑focused environment. Be genuinely passionate about automotive work, with great attention to detail and pride in the quality of your inspections. Communicate clearly and confidently, translating technical terms into easy‑to‑understand language for customers. Deliver excellent customer service by building trust and putting people at ease throughout the inspection process. Be adaptable and willing to learn new systems, processes, and technology as they evolve. Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
