Operations Coordinator – Theatre and Anaesthesia Location: Waikato Hospital, Hamilton, New Zealand. Full‑time on‑site position, fixed term 12 months, 80 hours per fortnight. About the Role The Operations Coordinator will facilitate the recruitment of nurses, health care assistants, anaesthetic technicians, and administrators within the Theatre and Anaesthesia team. The role involves managing multiple recruitment reports, monitoring progress, and maintaining accountability within a dynamic peri‑operative environment. Responsibilities Facilitate recruitment of nursing, health care assistant, anaesthetic technician, and administrative staff. Manage and maintain recruitment reports to drive progress. Adjust recruitment plans in response to changing staffing needs and priorities. Support administrative duties that sustain the peri‑operative environment. Qualifications At least 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a health care setting. Proven ability to manage priorities efficiently and work independently. Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with multidisciplinary teams. Self‑driven, flexible and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment. Competency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Experience working at Health New Zealand/ Te Whatu Ora.
