Job Description
Rental Operations Coordinator, Christchurch Join TR Group as a Rental Operations Coordinator in our Christchurch branch. This role is responsible for delivering ‘easy-for-you transport solutions’ to our customers. About the role As the first point of contact for customers entering or calling the branch, you will provide smooth service and match customer needs with the right vehicle. You’ll build trusted, long‑term relationships, learn business requirements, and support them as their needs evolve. Managing the rental fleet – COFs, RUC, servicing and tyre management. Handling after‑hours calls as per the call‑out roster. Invoicing rental agreements and communicating promptly about vehicle damage. Providing comprehensive handovers of rental vehicles, covering operation, safety features, and capabilities. Identifying opportunities to support new and existing customers by building strong relationships and understanding their transport needs. Operating hours are 7 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday. Qualifications Experience in customer service, face‑to‑face and phone. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑performing team. Heavy transport experience and a class 4 or 5 licence is an advantage (training available). Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
