Job Opportunity: Heavy Diesel Mechanic Specializing in Machinery & Hydraulic Equipment Location: West Auckland Position: Full-Time The Role We are looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. If you have a passion for machinery, enjoy problem‑solving, and have hands‑on experience with hydraulic systems, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy diesel equipment, including trucks, excavators, loaders, and other machinery. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems and components. Perform routine inspections, oil changes, and preventive maintenance. Work with a team to meet deadlines and minimize equipment downtime. Keep accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and hydraulic equipment. What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic with strong expertise in hydraulic systems. Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles. Experience with diagnostic tools and maintenance software. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant certifications in Diesel Mechanics or similar (preferred).
