About The Job We’re looking for an experienced CCTV Operator to join our team in Timaru. In this role you’ll be expected to actively video survey and carry out investigations of the wastewater and stormwater drainage networks on a reactive or scheduled basis. This May Involve Preparing, editing and revising plans and maps of drainage inspection for properties. Operating a high‑pressure truck and using various tractor and push cameras. Interpret and extract information from CCTV survey log sheets. Assist with clearing blockages in the waste and stormwater networks. What You’ll Need Ideally you will have previous experience and knowledge in plant and equipment required for waste and stormwater activities. Experience driving and operating a high‑pressure jetting truck. Experience in the use of surveying tools and software, and an understanding of the NZ Pipe Inspection Manual. You need to be able and willing to participate in the on‑call and standby roster. You will need to be physically fit, health and safety focused, and able to work well in a team as well as independently. Traffic controller Level 1 licence. A full class 1 and 2 licence and ability to drive a manual is also essential.
