0.8FTE fixed term Maternity cover to 7th June 2027 About the Role The position would suit an experienced MIT, or a New graduate MIT. You will be required to participate in the out of hours evening and weekends shift roster with overnight cover coming from an on call service. About the Team/Service/ Location Taupo Hospital & Radiology Department is a small friendly rural hospital dedicated to providing excellent patient care and a quality Radiology service. The hospital has an Emergency Department, an inpatient ward, a birthing unit and an outpatient department. The Radiology department has one general X‑ray room with a DR mobile unit, a Canon Prime SP CT scanner and an Ultrasound suite. A mix of inpatients, outpatients, community referred and Emergency imaging is serviced by a small highly skilled team. The successful candidate will be working across the General X‑ray Department and taking part in the shift and on call roster. About you You must hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate, or have applied for registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiations Technologists Board. Be a good team player, friendly and approachable, flexible, able to work under pressure and communicate well with others. Able to work autonomously and independently and demonstrate critical thinking. Engagement in continued professional development and have a passion for the role.
