We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cafeteria Assistant to support our busy staff cafeteria. You’ll be assisting the Cafeteria Manager in maintaining a clean, well-organised kitchen and café space, while preparing and serving meals to our hardworking factory staff. This is a hands-on role where timing, cleanliness, and customer service all matter. Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm Your key responsibilities include: Prepare and serve food to align with scheduled staff meal breaks Make fresh sandwiches each morning Maintain high food hygiene standards at all times Keep the café and kitchen areas clean and tidy Clean coffee machines and replenish supplies throughout the day Ensure all food items are stored correctly, labelled, and dated to meet food safety regulations Maintain clean and hygienic bench tops and staff fridge areas The successful candidate will have: Proven experience preparing and cooking food in line with hygiene standards Previous experience in a café or similar hospitality setting Excellent customer service and communication skills A proactive, team-focused attitude A down-to-earth personality with enthusiasm for food and service At Hellers, we take pride in our people and our products.
