About this job RoleType: Permanent Full-Time Location: As per Letter of Offer Hours: 37.5 hours per week Days: Monday to Friday Tenure: Permanent Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and optimisation of Salesforce solutions that enhance the tauira experience and support organisational objectives. Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions. Provide technical leadership through solution design, code reviews, mentoring, and engineering best practices. Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and external platforms using modern API and integration patterns. Drive continuous improvement through refactoring, automated testing, and reduction of technical debt. Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Software Engineers, and stakeholders across the organisation. Contribute to agile delivery practices and foster a culture of learning, innovation, and technical excellence. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required). At least 7 years’ hands‑on Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments. Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, APIs, and integrations. Proven experience with automated testing frameworks, CI/CD practices, version control, and agile delivery methodologies. Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST APIs and industry-standard integration patterns. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills. Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring developers. Ability to build strong working relationships and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders. Salesforce Platform Developer II certification. Experience with OmniStudio, Azure DevOps, Azure Portal, Visual Studio, and GitHub. Experience within the tertiary education or academic sector. Desirable As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
