About Us Our Branch Performance teams are connectors both within their branch and across all branches at Te Tari Taiwhenua. The four Branch Performance teams work together to support strategy, planning, accountability, assurance and official correspondence across the Department. We manage a variety of work in a busy, interesting environment. The Role We are looking for a highly capable and strategic Principal Advisor to join our Branch Performance team on a fixed term/secondment basis to June 2027. This is a unique opportunity to work at the centre of the organisation, supporting senior leadership and driving alignment across Branches to deliver on our strategic priorities. As a Principal Advisor, you will play a critical role helping to bring together strategy, operations, and performance across the Branch. You'll work closely with the Director, Branch Performance and the Deputy Secretary, providing high-level advice and thought leadership to improve organisational performance, efficiency, and effectiveness. You'll also contribute to strengthening corporate accountability, reporting, and compliance, ensuring our Branch is aligned and performing at its best. This is a high-impact role where you'll work directly with senior leaders and help shape how the organisation delivers on its priorities.
