St Teresa's School (Featherston) Wellington New Entrant Classroom Teacher (Scale A) Full time, Permanent Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts St Teresa’s is a Catholic school with a big heart, educating learners from Years 1–8 in the Wairarapa. We are looking for an enthusiastic and fun, experienced classroom teacher to join our dedicated team as the new entrant/Year 1 classroom teacher, from Term 4, 2026 (start date negotiable). This is a non-tagged, scale A, position so the successful applicant will be expected to recognise and respect the school’s Catholic special character and be actively involved in the total life of the school, in a manner which respects the religious instruction given and religious observances practices within the school. The successful applicant will bring: Strong classroom practice that engages and challenges all learners.
