You’ll support tāngata with their individual care needs and daily living activities – no qualifications or prior experience required. Your role is to provide safe, respectful, person‑centered support in people’s homes, including being mindful of what matters to them, their culture, values, beliefs, routines, and boundaries. Comprehensive paid training to set you up for success Flexible hours – we’ll do our best to align your schedule with the needs of the people we support Weekend availability essential (+$1.00 extra per hour) Paid travel time and mileage – when you travel for work, you’ll be compensated fairly, including paid travel time and mileage for longer trips. Our Kaiāwhina Skills Framework training takes place during your first two to four weeks of employment and includes: Support through structured induction, ongoing training, refreshers, and clear development pathways.
