Job Description
Overview Apply for Sales and Marketing Executive at Sofitel in Queenstown, New Zealand. This full‑time, on‑site position offers career growth opportunities within a luxury hotel environment. Responsibilities Support creation and delivery of marketing activities that convey Sofitel Queenstown’s brand stories for the hotel & Spa. Design, schedule and publish social media content for the hotel, following the marketing calendar and using performance reporting tools. Develop, deploy and analyse communications opportunities, including monthly EDMs, in‑house promotions and advertising for hotel outlets such as Le Salon Rouge and Left Bank Bistro. Manage online presence, conduct audits of merchandising on external distribution sites, and maintain the hotel website (www.sofitel-queenstown.com). Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.) to maximise ROI and spend. Monitor website traffic, conversion rates and online revenue, providing insights and recommendations. Assist with still and video photography, photo shoots and distribution of images. Track and report monthly sales and marketing activity data; compile reports for the Regional and Corporate Marketing teams. Support Groups & Events Executive with booking logistics, proposal preparation, invoicing, and post‑event follow‑up for MICE business. Maintain MICE database, coordinate site inspections, host hotel fams, and support non‑residential conference events. Collaborate with sales, reservations and food & beverage teams to align marketing campaigns with promotional activities. Ensure compliance with Accor guidelines for all marketing assets and client communications. Qualifications Proven digital marketing experience, preferably in hospitality or luxury industry. Proficiency in design programs (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and content management systems (WordPress). Familiar with Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite and digital advertising tools. Strong understanding of SEO, SEM and social media advertising. Analytical skills to assess campaign performance and optimise strategies. Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong attention to detail. Self‑motivated, able to multitask and work autonomously. Professional image and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly. Willingness to pursue further development with Sofitel. Benefits Competitive salary and performance incentives.
