Cyber Security Specialist

Job Description Opportunity We are looking for a Specialist Lead to work with and help a variety of organisations, from large government agencies that make a difference to the lives of all New Zealanders, iconic Kiwi institutions who grow our economy, to companies who put us on the global map. You will be helping them achieve their goals while doing so in a safe and secure way. You will also have responsibilities to deliver outcomes and to grow and manage people. About the team You’ll join Deloitte’s Cyber, Privacy & Resilience team—part of our Technology & Transformation business unit. What You’ll Do Serve as an expert to key clients on their cyber, privacy and resilience needs and bring them valuable insights and fresh thinking. Help our clients solve their hard security challenges as they balance the need for business transformation, regulations, and risk management. Work with our wider teams to embed secure practices into our client delivery. Mentor and grow talent, shaping the next generation of cyber professionals. Qualifications Experience: 5+ years in IT services, with significant cyber security expertise. Consulting mindset: Ability to deliver tangible value and influence at all levels. Technical depth: Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Security Architecture & Cloud Security Privacy & Data Protection Secure by Design Cyber frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) Communication skills: Excellent written and spoken English for reports and presentations.
