Job Description
Outlier partners with leading AI companies to improve how artificial intelligence understands real people: how we speak, express emotion, communicate intent, and respond naturally in everyday situations. We are looking for native Korean speakers who are comfortable using their voice. This project is a strong fit for people who can bring clarity, personality, and emotional range to short audio. You do not need to be a professional actor, but you should be expressive, confident, and able to speak naturally in front of a microphone. What You'll Work On Recording short audio clips Reading or acting brief scripts with different tones, emotions, or speaking styles Listening to or reviewing audio/video clips and capturing details in text Helping improve AI systems' understanding of human speech, tone, and expression Who This Is For Acting, theater, or improv Podcasting, streaming, or vocal performance Call centers, sales, or customer support Public speaking or presenting Any role where clear, expressive communication is important Naturally outgoing and expressive speakers are encouraged to apply, even without formal performance experience. Requirements Native fluency in Korean Strong vocal clarity, expression, and emotional range Comfort speaking on camera Quiet, distraction-free recording environment Reliable internet connection Must not be located in any restricted country or region listed below Nice to Have Theater, improv, acting, or voiceover experience Classical vocal training or public speaking background Professional microphone, or home recording setup Prior experience recording audio or video content Pay This project pays up to $31 USD per hour for core project work. Contributors may also be eligible for additional incentive opportunities through Missions, Outlier's version of surge pricing. Rates and available work may vary based on skills assessment, project needs, expertise, location, and other factors. Some onboarding, assessment, or non-core work may be paid at a different rate.
