Skills in Pelvic Health, Hand Therapy or Seating and Wheelchair Assessment are of preference.**About the Role**As an Outpatient Physiotherapist at Southland Hospital, you'll deliver assessments and treatments in all core areas of Physiotherapy working within an interdisciplinary team. Southland Hospital is a modern, secondary-level facility with access to senior clinical support and strong connections across the Southern district.For more information on living and working in Southland click here**About you**You will ideally:* Hold a **current Annual Practising Certificate** with the **Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand** or be eligible for registration by February 2026.* Over 2 years of physiotherapy experience in hospital or community settings within a health system comparable to New Zealand's (e.g., Australia, UK, Canada)* May have some skills or interests in Pelvic Health, Seating and Wheelchair Assessment or Hand Therapy* Demonstrate clinical reasoning and the ability to work independently* Be a strong team player with excellent communication and a proactive approach to healthcare and learning* Be open to supporting all clinical areas**Salary range:** $80,594 to $112,496 per annum (pro rata), aligned with the Allied, Public Health, Scientific & Technical Collective Agreement and based on your experience and qualifications.**Working at Health New Zealand**Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
