Positions include covering planned and acute care theatre sessions, after‑hours on‑call support and pre‑assessment clinics. About you To work with us, you must: be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) hold an equivalent international postgraduate specialist qualification to the Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) hold an Annual Practising Certificate (APC) issued by the MCNZ upon registration. Salary, benefits and leave Salary The average salary package for Anaesthetists in New Zealand is USD ~197,684 (NZD 343,500). Packages are comprised of a base salary based on experience, plus allowances, and superannuation per the ASMS collective agreement.
