Construction Manager

Role Overview Meridian is constructing a new Wind Farm in Mt Munro and seeks a Construction Manager to oversee all construction activities for the project, including earthworks, civil works, buildings, electrical works, control systems, transmission, SCADA, ICT services, and handover. The role is a full‑time, three‑year fixed‑term, site‑based position responsible for safe, healthy, sustainable delivery and handover of the project to the approved programme and budget. Responsibilities Ensure safe, healthy, and sustainable work practices on site, protecting people and the environment. Lead by example to create a united, collaborative team on site, bringing contractors and direct reports together and setting the tone for open, no‑surprises communication. Qualifications Relevant tertiary or industry qualifications in project or construction management. Proven ability to deliver complex infrastructure or large technical capital projects from planning through to operational handover. Skilled in leading multi‑disciplinary teams in both onsite and virtual environments. Strong experience in contractor management and performance oversight. Highly effective at coordinating and integrating multiple workstreams and contractors. Comfortable driving on 4WD tracks and enjoying the outdoors in all weathers; the wind farm environment can be extremely harsh. Residence within a commutable distance from the Mt Munro wind farm.
