Job Description

Overview Stantec is a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting. The Buildings team in New Zealand delivers end‑to‑end projects for clients, specialising in mission‑critical facilities such as data centres and healthcare. Responsibilities Lead the design and delivery of electrical services on a variety of building projects. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines. Maintain strong client relationships and ensure project expectations are exceeded. Prepare high‑quality design documentation, including specifications and drawings (REVIT knowledge desirable). Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality assurance for junior engineers. Contribute to business development activities and help grow the electrical services division. Qualifications A degree in Electrical Engineering (BE or equivalent). 7 years’ experience in electrical building services design. Experience in data centre and healthcare facilities. Proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects on time and on budget. Strong understanding of NZ building codes and electrical standards. Proficiency in electrical design software and documentation tools (AGI, Power CAD). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
