Part time role (32 hours) Tuesday to Friday About the Business The Addington Supportive Housing hostel has been providing housing for Men only for 130 years in Christchurch. It is a 24 hour staffed site focused upon the needs of Men with Addiction, Mental health and Corrections histories who are need of housing. The team of about 40 staff are made up of Social Workers, Counsellors, Addiction staff, Support workers, Clinical Management, Office team and Property staff. About the Role This Registered Nurse role helps to provide direct physical and mental health care for those living in the hostel service alongside our Enrolled Nurse. This is a Tuesday to Friday role with no shift work with hours of work to be negotiated. It is expected that the hours will be 8.30am-5pm or similar. May include oncall for 1 week in 4-5 weeks depending upon roster. What will your responsibilities be To provide direct Physical and Mental Health care to the men in the hostel. To support medication oversight to the site. To work alongside Caseworkers and other key staff regarding addressing health needs. Have a holistic view of health needs to the site. Work alongside the clinical leadership in addressing short falls in the health needs. Oversee infection control measures and auditing processes. Liaise daily with Pharmacy and Primary Health teams. Our ideal candidate will Must be a NZ Degree qualified full Registered Nurse (or approved equivalent). Have at least 3 years' experience post training, in Mental Health, Addictions, Corrections or similar. Be experienced in working with Men's health needs. This role is permanent part time and hours worked will be 32 per week . The starting salary for this role will be from $74,830.00 to $81,552.00 pro rata gross per annum depending upon experience.
